Anna

tutor of German at Ditto

The German language and the culture of German-speaking countries have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began and continued my education in Germany for eight years before deciding to further enrich the knowledge I gained there by choosing to study at the Institute of German Studies at the University of Warsaw. After completing my master’s degree, I pursued a PhD in literature, which I successfully defended in 2010. Since 2011, I have been an assistant professor at the Institute of German Studies at the University of Warsaw. In my daily work with students, I teach courses on cultural studies and practical German language skills. I travel extensively, in recent years following in the footsteps of German-speaking writers and artists. Another passion of mine is art, particularly 19th and 20th-century painting, literature, and keeping up with trends in German cinema.
