Anna

Teacher of English at Ditto Kids

My name is Ania, and I’m an English teacher at Ditto Kids. I’ve always been fascinated by the process of learning foreign languages. I explored it in depth during my English Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. I’ve tried various learning methods and believe that the best one is complete immersion in the language combined with conversation-based learning.

In our classes at Ditto Kids, we speak mainly in English right from the start, which is possible even with very young children. Using pictures, gestures, and interactive games, children can begin communicating in a foreign language with just a few words. This process mimics the way we learn our native language and helps reduce the risk of developing a language barrier later on.

My second passion is playing the violin, and I believe that music is also an amazing tool in language learning. That’s why, in my lessons, we learn vocabulary through songs and use rhythmic exercises to improve a child’s fluency and pronunciation. This type of learning fully engages young learners and turns education into something more than just a school obligation.
