Julia
Teacher of English and Italian at Ditto Kids
My name is Julia Bobrowska. I graduated in Italian Philology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and have been working as an English and Italian language teacher for 3 years.
Besides teaching, I also do translations and text editing. I completed an internship at the Polish-Italian newspaper "Gazzetta Italia," where I translated articles for the print edition and wrote summaries of articles on various topics (politics, economy, culture, etc.) for the "Polonia Oggi" newsletter.
I have experience working with all age groups, but at Ditto Kids, I teach the youngest students, aged 6-12. In my lessons, I focus primarily on speaking, but I also love explaining grammar in a simple way, and each lesson introduces new vocabulary, which we regularly practise.
I stay up-to-date with technological innovations, and in my free time, I enjoy playing video games, which I often incorporate into my online lessons. It may be surprising to some, but video games are a great, engaging tool for learning a language through fun! Every child has potential and endless creativity, and my passion is to show them how to use it.
As for my teaching style, I am patient, understanding, and open to children's ideas. I have helped many overcome language barriers and shyness that holds them back. Everyone learns at their own pace and in their own style, so each course is different... But none is boring! :) Get a trial lesson to see for yourself.
