Sara
Teacher of Italian
at Ditto Kids
Ciao! My name is Sara. I am half Polish and half Italian. I currently live in the heart of Italy, in Umbria, although my heart is divided between Rome and Warsaw. I am fluent in English and also speak German and Spanish. In 2023, I completed my Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw, with two specializations: Translation and Specialized Terminology, and Foreign Language Teaching. At Ditto, I teach Italian.
I really enjoy working with children and teenagers because they are spontaneous and honest. They are not afraid to openly say what they are interested in — or what they are not! So, if we feel like spending the whole lesson talking about football, Italian cuisine, nature, or Disney stories, that is exactly what we will do!
With older students, I focus from the very beginning on identifying their language level and setting clear learning goals. This helps maintain motivation and makes the learning process more effective. Together, we talk about things that will genuinely be useful in everyday life, at school, at work, during an exam, or simply about topics you are passionate about.
Speaking is one of the most important elements of my lessons. I want every student to feel comfortable and confident enough to actively participate from the very first class. Vi aspetto!
